Somehow I have failed to make clear that I am a Christian.
I’m sure this misunderstanding is due to some shortcoming
Of mine.
So here’s a heads up
I am a Christian
I believe that when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior
I was born into the family of God.
I believe I have eternal security
I believe that once saved.
I am always saved.
I reject Calvinism,
you can show me
why your Elect and I am not.
Just get over it..
I believe scripturally
That believers
are eternally secure.
Yes that is Eternally Secure.
You know Forever.
If you have further questions..
Well you have my email
Regards,
Pet Campbell

This is an update from Deb and Matt in Mozambique
They are Missionaries to the LOLO’s..
Please keep them in prayer!
Pet
Our friends and colleagues Phil and Elin Henderson stopped by and passed the weekend with us so we used the opportunity to send this email on with them. It was really nice to have them here as their church planting vision again brought into focus once again the long term goal of our language learning. Our co-workers the Morris’s left on Friday for their 9 month furlough so as of Monday morning we plan to be the only car in town. Debi shed a few tears watching her friend Julie drive away. We will certainly miss their fellowship.
We will try to fill you a little on the day to day of daily Lolo life around here. We are still in our first year here and the seasons are ever changing meaning that we are observing the changing activities of the yearly cycle. Right now is the time of the big harvests; most the major crops are being harvested: corn, rice, cotton and to a lesser extent peanuts. We are entering the time of plenty both in terms of food and money as selling corn and cotton will both be in high season this coming month.
With the money, people can go to the local market and buy plates, buckets, bikes, dried fish, used clothes (designer pants are about $2), cigarettes, soap, beer, machetes, hoes and other food products. The industrious fellow will save up his money and build a house like ours (only smaller) of burned bricks, cement mortar and floor and tin roofing. The tin roof is a great break from the grass roofs that need replacing every year requiring a good deal of work.
Prayer Points:
· Pray for health, Matt’s boil is healing nicely after a visit to our local clinic and
Debi’s cold is still lingering.
· Pray for the Morris’s safety in travel and a refreshing furlough. Their flight left
Johannesburg on 9 June.
· Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom in how to do what we do well: both
language learning and church planting.
· Pray that the Lolo might each day more
sense their need to know God’s Word.
For the King!
Matt & Debi

You know this kind of morning.
The forecast as you go to bed is: The Weather Sucks.
So you get up to pouring rain, and flip on
The radio just in case The Weatherman has changed his mind,
Well if he can find it.
Nope it still is; Weather Sucks Bad All Week.
So you run to town for the only thing you’re out of size D batteries.
There are none anywhere At all.
You check every store, just in case.
You have just wasted three hours running around.
Driving home you remember that you stashed a big bag of batteries in the back of the pantry last hurricane season.
You walk in and the dog has vomited on the carpet after he chewed up your new running shoes.
And you can’t find your bang head here sign.
